Pets are NOT allowed at the Rusty Rhino Picnic Spot. They are allowed next door at the Rusty Rhino Shop where the area is fenced off.

Children are allowed at the picnic area provided they are well supervised.

Rusty Rhino is not liable for any damages and/or injuries that may occur at the picnic site.

Are food items and drinks allowed at the picnic area?

Yes. Food items and drinks are allowed.

Braai facilities are provided, as well as bins for disposing of your rubbish.

Please remember to keep the picnic site clean. Animals do wander around the area and may eat your garbage left behind resulting in the animals getting sick at potentially dying.

No. Music is prohibited at the Rusty Rhino Picnic Spot.

What time does the Rusty Rhino picnic spot open and close?

The picnic spot is open as long as the reserve is open. Generally, the times are from 6AM to 6PM.
